Grants Program
The Local Records Preservation Program will offer records management and preservation grant workshops at nine regional sites from November 1 through 29, 2006. Each workshop will cover grant program requirements and the application process, plus basic planning information for microfilming projects. This information will prepare local governments to apply for funding in this competitive grant program: workshop attendance is strongly encouraged;
Application materials will be distributed at the workshops. No pre-registration is required and there is no charge for the workshop. Travel, meals, and other associated cost of participation are the responsibility of the attending individual. If weather conditions are hazardous on the day of the site you have selected, that workshop will be cancelled and not rescheduled.
