To The honourable the general assembely
Of the State of
Your petitioner would represent to your
honourable body that in compliance with
law he did furnish to John Brockman
a minor living with your petitioner and
drafted under capt Whittingtton to go against
the Mormons with a Horse Saddle and
Coverlaid and that your petitioner
has never been able to get back said
Saddle and coverlaid though your petitioner
has Made all necessary Search and
enquiry for the Same and further
your petitioner would represent to your
honourable body that he has applied to
the guartermaster General for an
allowance for Said Saddle and Coverlaid
and was informed that Said allowance
would have been made had it been
presented in time or previous to his making
