Misourie at a meating of the Citizens of Hancock
City State of
To Transmit to your honour an appeal of Joseph
Smith the Prophet to the greenmountain Boys
Published in the inclosed this Paper is only cerculated
among the Mormans by Chance we obtained one
of them and Considered it our duty to Forward
it to you the enclosed is Sufficient evidence to
let you know their Designs
We feel much interested for Misourie as we have onst
been Citensons of that State and have a great many
relatives & Friends their. we Submit this Packet
to you for your Consideration feeling that we have
done our Duty as republicans. We [“but” is erased] subscribe
