Resolved,  That in the opinion of this Meeting it

is necessary in order to discover and bring to

Justice the person or persons who attempted

to assassinate  Gov L.W. Boggs, that a large

reward be offered. And that the Committee

of Investigation be instructed to offer on

the responsibility of the Citizens of Jackson

County a Reward of $1000.00 for his

apprehension and Conviction.

Resolved.  That His Excellency Governor

Reynolds be informed of the attempted

assassination and requested to cooperate

with us by offering an appropriate

reward for the discovery the fellow.

Resolved  that the Committee of Investigation

be instructed to carry out these resolutions,
