                          Respected Sir

                                               I received your letter

mailed Dec 3 1840. I was anxious to

obtain the Pamphlet alluded to &

I now beg of you if you can procure one

to send it with the advertisement

containing the reward offered for Joz.

Smith by the other’z who fled

from justice. also if you have the

Pamphlet published by order of

the Senate of the U.S. in regard to

the evidence taken in the 5 Judicial

district of Mo. My sole object is to expose

Mormonism.

                            Please answer immediately

                          & oblige your friend

sued the State of Mo & recovered $6000 Damages thiz

tale they tell here, Pleaze give me a Copy of

the advertisement if you cannot send the

Newzpaper.  They denigh all these things.
