Small Business Advocacy Center

"As a small business owner myself, I know what it is like to sort through a lot of bureaucracy and paperwork to get things done with state government. In the Secretary of State's office, my staff and I are committed to streamlining processes, reducing red tape and offering commonsense solutions to help small businesses grow and create more jobs for Missourians." – Secretary of State Robin Carnahan

Secretary of State Robin Carnahan would like to welcome you to the Missouri Small Business Advocacy Center. This online center is managed by the Business Services Division of the Secretary of State’s office and is a new service designed to provide convenient and useful information to our customers.  It is designed to help prospective business owners more easily navigate the process of forming a new business and to help current business owners streamline their ongoing communication and reporting requirements with state government.  We hope you find this center useful, and our staff is always ready to answer your questions or connect you with the appropriate local or state resource.
