Jefferson City, Mo. — Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft today unveiled the 2021-2022 Official Manual, also called The Blue Book.  This edition commemorates Missouri’s bicentennial, recognizing 200 years of statehood.

Within the manual, readers can find comprehensive information on federal and state government officials, state and county agencies, elections, political parties and state personnel.

The 1,424-page hardback book was compiled, proofed and designed by the Publications Division within the secretary of state’s office, directed by Julie Stegeman. The book's cover art was developed by Jacob Schloss.

The feature story was written by U.S. Senator Roy Blunt, reflecting on the long list of celebrated individuals and institutions that contributed to 200 years of Missouri history.

The Blue Book is available for purchase at $35 per book for pick up. Orders can be made online or by calling 573-751-4218. A $7 per book fee is added for those choosing the shipping option. The book’s content can also be found online at https://www.sos.mo.gov/bluebook/2021-2022.

“This bicentennial edition of the state manual represents Missouri; its past, present and future.” Ashcroft said.  “I want to thank all Missourians for 200 years of progress.  United we stand, divided we fall.”
