Governor Matt Blunt issued a Writ of Election to fill the vacancy in the office of State Representative, District 38.  This vacancy was created by the death of State Representative Dan Bishop.  Candidates nominated by the political parties or by petition must file their declarations of candidacy with the Secretary of State by 5:00 p.m. on February 24, for the special election to be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2005.
