Minimum Specifications for Computer Equipment

All computers purchased with LSTA grant funds must meet the following minimum specifications established by the Missouri Secretary of State's Office:

• The following specs do not apply to Thin Client installations, which are allowable

• 6 GB Memory 64-Bit
• 512 MB Graphics Card
• 640GB Hard drive
• 22” Flat Panel Widescreen Monitor 8 ms Seek Time or better
• DVD Read/Write drive
• Front USB and Audio ports
• Gaming Keyboard
• Gaming Headset
• LAN Networking Port

Computer Lab* Server Tower or Rack:

• 2.0 GHz  Dual- or Quad-Core Processor
• 4 GB Memory
• 160 GB Hard drive—4 or more hard drives for RAID (RAID 5)
• 19 inch Monitor
• Rewritable DVD Drive
• Dual Power Supplies
