Keeping Up is a current awareness clipping service prepared by the staff of the Missouri State Library. Since 1976, its purpose has been to provide Missouri State agencies and state personnel with current information about state agencies and issues as derived from articles that have been published in a representative sample of Missouri newspapers. Keeping Up is provided as a service through agreements with newspaper publishers. It is produced with the intent of providing a comprehensive, focused, timely, non-partisan daily compilation of news articles from a wide selection of Missouri newspapers. In 2005, the State Library launched Keeping Up Online, an online version of this news service that would be available to the public.
