EXECUTIVE ORDER
NO. 84-16

WHEREAS, there is a need to provide tangible evidence of public recognition for distinguished service to the state of Missouri through extraordinary recruiting and retention efforts by members of the Missouri National Guard, and

WHEREAS, these Guard members have performed such recruiting and retention duties with distinction, and

WHEREAS, this distinguished service, or act is most deserving of recognition by the State of Missouri on behalf of its grateful citizens, now

THEREFORE, I, CHRISTOPHER S. BOND, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI under the authority vested in my by RSMo 41.090 and RS-Moo 41.120, do hereby authorize the Adjutant General of Missouri to award a Missouri National Guard Recruiting/Retention Ribbon to individual members of the Missouri National Guard who have demonstrated extraordinary recruiting and retention efforts to the State of Missouri. I further authorize the Adjutant General to design, procure and award this ribbon to those individuals determined to be eligible through administrative procedures established by his office.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, on this 17th day of December, 1984.
