EXECUTIVE ORDER
NO. 87-05

WHEREAS, the Missouri Health Coordinating Council was created by Executive Order 86-4; and

WHEREAS, the federal requirements have changed and the Council now requests that it be discontinued:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN ASHCROFT, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, by virtue of the authority vested in my by the Constitution and laws of Missouri, do hereby rescind Executive Order 86-4, and abolish the Missouri Health Coordinating Council.

Responsibility for health planning, and support for its attendant Certificate of Need program, is assigned to the Missouri Department of Health.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, on this 26th day of August, 1987.
