EXECUTIVE ORDER
NO. 92-03

WHEREAS, members of the Missouri National Guard have served with honor and distinction for many years; and

WHEREAS, their devotion and military career should be recognized by the people of Missouri; and

WHEREAS, recognition is now provided for thirty-five years military service in connection with the Missouri National Guard; and

WHEREAS, individual recognition should also be provided for National Guard members who achieve forty years military service in connection with the Missouri National Guard;

NOW, THEREFORE, I JOHN ASHCROFT, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, under the authority vested in me by the laws of the State of Missouri, do hereby authorize and direct the Adjuctant Genneral of Missouri to recognize forty years military service rendered in amy armed forces of the United States as a result of or in connection with membership in the organized militia of Missouri. This recognition will be the issuance of a second gold Hawthorn cluster.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, on this 30th day of January, 1992.
