EXECUTIVE ORDER
94-24

WHEREAS, by Executive Order 93-31, I established the Missouri Advisory Commission on the Organization of the Judicial Departments; and

WHEREAS, that Executive Order provided for three (3) members of the Commission to be appointed by the Governor; and

WHEREAS, that Executive Order 94-13 provided for an additional five (5) members to be appointed by the Governor to broaden representation of persons concerned with the Judicial Departments: and

WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Commission has requested additional members to be added to the Commission to further broaden the representation of persons concerned with the Judicial Department; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to increase the number of members on the Commission in order to ensure broad representation of persons concerned with the Judicial Department;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnahan, Governor of the State of Missouri, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, do hereby amend Executive Orders 93-31 and 94-13 to provide for the appointment of ten (10) members of the Commission by the Governor, such appointments to be made as soon as practicable.
