EXECUTIVE ORDER
98-09

 

WHEREAS, the State of Missouri must continually assess opportunities for improving its cash management operations; and

WHEREAS, Executive Order 96-02 established the State Cash Management Task Force; and

WHEREAS, on August 12, 1996, Executive Order 96-16 was issued amending Executive Order 96-02 regarding the reimbursement of expenses incurred by Task Force members;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnahan, Governor of the State of Missouri, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, do hereby amend Sections (a) and (d) of Executive Orders 96-16 and 96-02 as follows:

  • (a) The task force shall be comprised of the State Treasurer, the Commission of Administration, the Director of Revenue, and four private sector representatives, appointed by the Governor, who have demonstrated leadership and expertise in the field of cash management and such other members as the Governor may appoint from time to time.
  • (d) Task force members shall receive no compensation for duties performed, but may be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred as a result of their participation on the task force, to be paid from operating appropriations of any of the three member agencies.
