Independent was an early newspaper in Columbia, Missouri issued by students of the University of Missouri (March 1894-Dec. 1895, by a society known as the M. S. U. Barb). It was named M. S. U. independent from March 3, 1894 to May 27, 1904 and later named The Independent. This collection covers March 3, 1894-May 27, 1905 with some issues missing. |
