A basic introduction to the geological and industrial heritage of the Tri-State Mineral District. This district encompasses southwest Missouri, southeast Kansas, and northeast Oklahoma and was one of the United States' richest mineral districts of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Rolla Express

The Rolla Express newspaper was published from1860 through 1875 in Rolla, Missouri. The bulk of the papers are from October 1860 through May 1863 and November 1872 through December 1873, with some missing issues. Issues are also available for July 17, 1865; June 17, 1867; June 27, 1868; and February 25, 1875.
