Kander Expands Online Business Filing Options with New Website
Jefferson City, Mo. — Secretary of State Jason Kander today announced his office has created a new online system to make it easier to do business in Missouri. Previously, Missourians could file only five business forms online, but Kander’s office created a new system that allows nearly every business form that must be filed with the secretary of state’s office to be filed on an easy-to-use website.
"One of my main goals from my first day in office has been helping business owners and entrepreneurs succeed," Kander said. "This website further reduces red tape for Missouri business owners, and will make the process significantly more convenient."
From one location on Kander’s website, www.sos.mo.gov/fileonline, customers may now create or amend filings for their businesses or nonprofit organizations. The new site increases the available online filings from five to 35 filings. Customers will also have access to their filing history, which will help streamline future filings.
For help navigating the new system, Missourians should call the business services division of Kander’s office at 1-866-223-6535.
