SOS Home :: Records Services: The Missouri Channel
Thank you for your interest in Missouri state government. As the state's chief records keeper, Secretary of State Jason Kander is responsible for managing both current and historical records of the state to ensure those records are accessible to Missouri citizens. He started this initiative to give Missourians access to government information that currently is not readily available – at no additional cost to taxpayers.
On this website, you will find archived audio of debate in the Missouri House and Senate. By archiving this information and making it available to the public, Secretary Kander hopes to give Missourians the opportunity to listen to their government in action. This website will grow in the coming months and years to provide Missourians more access to the Missouri Legislature and statewide officeholders.
Note: Missouri House and Senate floor debate audio from 5/17 will be available on Monday 5/20.
The recordings provided herein are recordings of the past floor debates of the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate. Live debates from either the House of Representatives or the Senate can be found on their respective internet sites. The content of these past General Assembly recordings provided herein are in the public domain and are being provided for research and educational purpose as a function of the Missouri State Library and the Missouri State Archives.
