1. What are my payment options for online UCC filings?

Online UCC filings may be paid by a credit card; e-check; or by establishing an ACH account, which allows the Secretary of State to directly withdraw fees from a user’s bank account.

2. Are online searches of UCC records certified?

Certified searches can be conducted online.

3. When filing a UCC document, how many copies do I need to send?

Just one; once the UCC document is filed, a copy will be sent to the address listed on the filing in the “send acknowledgement to” box .

4. Can attachments to our online filings be scanned and filed online?

No, not at this time; however, this option is being reviewed and considered as a future service.
