These days it seems that everyone is talking about one diet or another. Here are some titles, compiled by Reader Advisor Cheryl Hassler, that might prove helpful as we all try to find the best way to get healthy or maybe lose some unwanted pounds.

Balance Your Body, Balance Your Life: Dr. Taub's 28-Day Permanent Weight Loss Plan by Edward A. Taub.
Integrative medical doctor outlines a one month regimen of eating and exercising patterns, which he claims will lead to permanent weight loss, better health, and more energy. Fit for Life: A New Beginning: Your Complete Diet and Health Plan for the Millennium by Harvey Diamond.
Diamond describes a program he believes will prevent cancer and other health problems by strengthening the lymph system. Components include walking, rebounding on a mini trampoline, periodic monodieting with fresh fruits and/or vegetables and juices, reducing animal product consumption, and exploiting the mind-body connection. The author presents the results of a decade he spent applying Ayurvedic concepts to the American way of life, including exercise, eating habits, and stress prevention techniques.
