Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins Appointed Co-Chair of National Securities Committee
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins has been appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the Securities Committee for the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS). The appointment was announced as part of the Association’s 2025–2026 leadership roster, recognizing secretaries from across the country who lead in advancing state-level oversight and public policy initiatives.
As Co-Chair, Secretary Hoskins will serve alongside Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin. The NASS Securities Committee provides a forum for state leaders to collaborate on best practices, investor protection, and the modernization of securities regulation across all 50 states.
“I’m honored to be selected by my colleagues to help lead this important national conversation,” Secretary Hoskins said. “Securities regulation is at the core of protecting investors, ensuring fair markets, and maintaining public trust in our financial systems. Missouri has long been a leader in safeguarding citizens from fraud, and I look forward to representing our state as we strengthen these protections nationwide.”
Secretary Hoskins has consistently prioritized integrity, transparency, and consumer protection within Missouri’s Securities Division. Under his leadership, the Division has expanded enforcement actions against financial fraud, increased public education on investment scams, and strengthened coordination with other states and federal regulators.
The National Association of Secretaries of State, founded in 1904, is the nation’s oldest nonpartisan professional organization for public officials. Its Securities Committee brings together state regulators to address emerging challenges in financial technology, investor education, and compliance oversight.
