EXECUTIVE ORDER
80-22

WHEREAS, I have been advised by the State Director, Disaster Planning and Operations Office, Civil Defense, Office of the Adjutant General, that a natural disaster has occurred in Camden, Miller, Maries, Crawford, Washington and Jefferson Counties in Missouri; that injury to persons and damage to and loss of property has resulted from severe winds on July 2, 1980, and that the safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the area and for the preservation and protection of property, thereof require an invocation of the provisions of Chapter 44 RSMo 1978.

NOW THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH P. TEASDALE, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, by virtue of authority vested in me, under the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, do hereby declare that a state of emergency exists in Camden, Miller, Maries, Crawford, Washington and Jefferson Counties and that the counties are hereby declared to be a disaster area.
