EXECUTIVE ORDER
80-7
REORGANIZATION PLAN 4 OF 1980

By virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 26.500, RSMo, 1969, I, JOSEPH P. TEASDALE, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, do hereby proclaim the following reorganization plan which provides a personnel system for hiring and retaining employees on a merit basis:

"All employees of the State Fire Marshall's Office of the Department of Public Safety, except the State Fire Marshall, the Chief Deputy, and the Administrative Secretary, and such other employees as may be exempted under the provisions of Chapter 36, RSMo, shall be selected in accordance with and subject to the provisions of 'The State Merit System Law.'"

This order shall be effective ninety days following the adjournment of the Eightieth General Assembly, Second Regular Session unless the plan is disapproved in accordance with the provisions of Section 26.510, RSMo, 1969.
