EXECUTIVE ORDER
94-07

WHEREAS, responsibility for state leasing and facilities management formerly resided in the Division of Design and Construction within the Office of Administration; and

WHEREAS, state leasing and facilities management has become a large operation necessitating the attention of a full-time division director; and

WHEREAS, the Office of Administration, in consultation with the Governor has decided to establish a new Division of Facilities Management to devote full-time attention to state leasing and facilities management;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnahan, Governor of the State of Missouri, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, including Article IV, Section 12, Missouri Constitution, and Section 1.13 of the Omnibus State Reorganization Act of 1974, hereby establish a new Division of Facilities Management within the Office of Administration and transfer the responsibilities for state leasing and facilities management from the Division of Design and Construction to the new Division of Facilities Management.
