EXECUTIVE ORDER
95-24

WHEREAS, the President of the United States has deemed it necessary to demonstrate to the world the readiness, strength, and purpose of a unified free people by committing military forces and by calling to active duty members of the National Guard of the State of Missouri; and

WHEREAS, the members of the Missouri National Guard have served with fortitude and resourcefulness in defense of liberty.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnaham, Governor of the State of Missouri, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, do hereby proclaim the establishment of the Missouri Expeditionary Ribbon for Missouri National Guard members ordered to federal active duty in direct support of United states military operations. I further authorize the Adjutant General of Missouri to establish specific eligibility criteria and award this ribbon to those members who serve honorably.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, on this 29th day of September, 1995.
