EXECUTIVE ORDER
96-20

WHEREAS, in Executive Order 95-26 the Missouri Task Force on Status of African-American Males (the "Task Force") was created; and

WHEREAS, the Task Force was to expire on January 1, 1997; and

WHEREAS, it has been identified and communicated to me that it is necessary to extend the expiration date of the Task Force.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnahan, Governor of the State of Missouri, pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, do hereby amend Executive Order 95-26, regarding the expiration date and final report as follows:

The Task Force shall expire on February 10, 1997. A final report shall be submitted to the Governor and both Houses of the Missouri General Assembly by the Task Force expiration date noted above.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, on this 3rd day of December, 1996.
