EXECUTIVE ORDER
NO. 98-19

WHEREAS, Executive Order 94-26 established the Missouri Commission on Intergovernmental Cooperation and duties of the Commission; and

WHEREAS, Executive Order 94-26 expired on July 1, 1996, and Executive Order 96-21 was issued reappointing the members; and

WHEREAS, at this time, it is necessary to amend Executive Order 96-21 relating to membership and the expiration date of the Commission.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnahan, Governor of the State of Missouri, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, hereby amend Executive Order 96-21 as follows:

Members or state agencies may be appointed by the Governor as needed on a permanent or temporary basis.

The Missouri Commission on Intergovernmental Cooperation shall terminate on July 1, 1999, unless renewed by an Executive Order executed prior to that date. This Executive Order supersedes and rescinds any previous Executive Order on the same subject.
