Participant Responsibilities

As a Safe at Home participant, you agree to:

  • Ask everyone who sends mail to you to include your authorization number when using your substitute address.
  • Immediately inform Safe at Home if you change your name, telephone number or confidential addresses. These changes must be submitted in writing, via fax or mail, within 10 days of the change or you could be canceled from the program.
  • Notify Safe at Home if you add a new dependent to your household or a dependent moves out of your household.
  • Accept all mail sent to you from the Safe at Home program.
  • Renew your participation in the program after the initial four years have passed if you wish to continue using the program.
  • Send a written notice to Safe at Home if you want to withdraw from the program voluntarily.
