Application Assistant Training
Potential Safe at Home participants must meet in person with a registered Application Assistant who has received training from the secretary of state’s office. Application Assistants may be employees or volunteers of government agencies or of nonprofit programs that provide counseling, referral, shelter, or other specialized services to crime victims. Attending one session will provide the complete training and eligible attendees will have the option to become registered Application Assistants for Safe at Home. Victim services providers and local agencies may also attend for informational purposes even if they do not intend to be Application Assistants. Training is open to first-time attendees and current/former Application Assistants who would like to renew their certificates.
Each session will provide the complete training and eligible attendees will have the option to become registered Application Assistants for Safe at Home. Victim services providers and local agencies may also attend for informational purposes even if they do not intend to be Application Assistants.
All sessions are the same. Attendees only need to attend one full session. The training is offered at no cost, but registration is required. Attendance is limited for each webinar.
