TeachingBooks
TeachingBooks is an engaging collection of resources that helps children and youth connect to titles and authors that they love. It is free to all Missouri residents, and includes many tools for librarians, teachers, and parents looking for ways to promote high quality books to children. Resources include author and illustrator interviews, book trailers and readings, lesson plan and library programming ideas, book promotion tools, and much more. Collection Analysis Initiative
The Missouri Collection Analysis Initiative, a component of TeachingBooks, helps Missouri librarians and classroom teachers ensure that their collections are meeting the needs of patrons and students. It helps professionals make decisions about collection management, programming, lesson planning, book displays and front-facing titles, and more. Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP)
CSLP is a grassroots consortium of states working together to provide high-quality summer library program materials. If you work in a state-aid eligible library, you may have access to CSLP's summer programming manual as well as promotional funds (available through the Missouri State Library) to purchase items from the CSLP shop. STEM Kit Lending Library
The Missouri State Library provides a collection of STEM-related and literacy kits available for checkout by public and school libraries. Great for classroom use, after-school clubs, STEM nights, and more, kits can be borrowed for up to 45 days and are loaned at no cost to you.
