Public Libraries Certified for
FY2025 State Aid

The FY2025 state aid to public libraries program received an appropriation of $4,504,001. A total of 161 library districts have been certified and qualify for state aid per capita payment this year at a $0.711 per capita rate for a total of $4,035,806.84 total payments. FY2024 Equalization payments amounted to $398,194.16 distributed to 37 county libraries. An additional $70,000 was distributed to 34 municipal libraries through Small Municipal Library payments.
