Online registration for the Central Missouri NHD contest will open on January 1, 2026 at 12:00 am and close on February 20, 2026 at 11:59 pm.

To access the Central Missouri NHDMO Student/Teacher Registration information, type the following into your search engine, Missouri State Archives (Mid Missouri) Regional Contest, or go directly to https://mo-msammrc.nhd.org/. You may also go to register.nhd.org/contests and search by state and contest. As in past years, teachers must register before their students can do so.

Complete the registration form and submit it as instructed.

Central Missouri virtual contest entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm on February 17, 2026.

Central Missouri NHD Documentary, Historical Paper and Website virtual contest judging begins on February 18, 2026.

Central Missouri NHD Performance and Exhibit live contest is on February 28, 2026 from 10am–1p.m., hosted by Columbia Public Schools.
